CERTIFIED INDUSTRIAL HYGIENIST SERVICES (CIH)

These CIH Services provide the needed support and the required oversight to ensure proper operation of Certified Environmental Home Inspector related services.

The CIH Services program includes ongoing consultation and support for Certified Home Inspectors, by providing:

Ø             Review of test results and template-based reports.

Ø             Certified Scope of Work Documents.

Ø             Certified Post Remediation Documents.

Ø             Presentation of results with Homeowner, consultation and site visits, when necessary

How it works

When the initial Certified Moisture Inspection (CMI) is complete, the CEHI accesses ESP’s online system and completes the required report including all inspection information.

When the analysis report on the samples are received by the independent certified Laboratory results CEHI completes the template-based report document.

On completion of the report, an ESP CIH Services staff will review and respond to the homeowner within 24 hours via email and/or telephone. ESP will provide a copy of the report to the homeowner.

When a home passes inspection, ESP will send the appropriate documentation to the homeowner.

In the event that testing results reveal a mold issue, a CIH Services staff member will consult with the homeowner, provide any required certified documents and recommend any professional services necessary

On completion of the clean-up the homeowner will have the opportunity to sign up for the annual Mold and Moisture Management (MMM) Program.
